Studies on the effects of Probenecid to the Pharmacokinetics of 4-amino-N-2-pyrimidinyl benzene sulfonamide

Abstract
|
|
|
Although Sulfonamides have broad Antibacterial ability, they have frequently administrated for maintance therapeutic level because protein binding ability is large, and crystalluria, their acetylmetabolite, has been reported frequently.
In order to diminished those problem, Probenecid was administrated to rabbit concomitant, before 1 hour, after 1 hour of Sulfonamides. The results was follows:
1. Before 1 hour Sulfonamides, plasma level was increase and after 1 hour Sulfonamides, half-life was increase.
2. Plasma level of Acetylsulfadiazine, their acetylmetabolite, was diminished in concomitant, before 1 hour, after 1 hour of Sulfonamides.
